Christmas Coffee Morning

The LVG Christmas Coffee morning was another resounding success with the Mechanics Hall packed to capacity. Forty one Children visited Father Christmas in his fantastic grotto. A massive THANK YOU to eveyone who worked so hard to make the event a success

Longwood Tower 150th Birthday Picnic

Bring your picnic blankets and your hampers to Longwood Tower on Sunday 28th August 2011 and join in our celebration. The deputy Mayor of Kiklees and her Consort will officialy open the event at 3.00 p.m.

Longwood Village Group Coffee Morning 2nd July 2011, with all the usual attractions will be followed by an Extraordinary General Meeting of members to consider two proposed alterations to the Constitution.

This Saturday 29th January sees two events on at the Mechanics Hall. From 1.30pm to 3.30pm there is a winter warmer event to which everyone is invited. Then from 4.30pm to 6.30pm there is a members and users gathering and buffet. See you all there!!


Lost Spectacles

Saturday 6th November LVG coffee morning is a Trash and Treasure sale. "one persons trash is someone elses treasure". Lots of second hand books, jigsaws, games, toys etc. Coffee,biscuits, cakes and meet the councillors. 2011 Calanders.
