LVG are planning to hold a silent auction in the new year, so we are seeking donations of good as new items that can be auctioned to raise money towards the cost of replacing the rest of the windows in the Mechanics Hall.

The LVG Christmas Coffee morning was another resounding success with the Mechanics Hall packed to capacity. Forty one Children visited Father Christmas in his fantastic grotto.

Longwood Village Group Coffee Morning 2nd July 2011, with all the usual attractions will be followed by an Extraordinary General Meeting of members to consider two proposed alterations to the Constitution.

This Saturday 29th January sees two events on at the Mechanics Hall. From 1.30pm to 3.30pm there is a winter warmer event to which everyone is invited. Then from 4.30pm to 6.30pm there is a members and users gathering and buffet. See you all there!!

A pair of glasses was found on the right hand side of the Mechanics Hall Stage on Saturday morning when we were clearing up after the Christmas coffee morning.

Saturday 6th November LVG coffee morning is a Trash and Treasure sale. "one persons trash is someone elses treasure".
Lots of second hand
books, jigsaws, games, toys etc. Coffee,biscuits, cakes and meet the councillors.
